´OUATIM 2´ : Akshay-Imran Team Up, To Release In 2013!

When it was announced that Akshay Kumar had been signed up for the sequel of Balaji's Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai, there was major excitement and curiosity about the unexpected choice of actor. The announcement was followed by months of speculation around who was going to play the parallel lead.


The industry's most widely speculated casting has been revealed.
The makers have confirmed Imran Khan, who, with this one, bags a heavy-duty addition to his kitty of films.

Riding high after a string of consecutive hits like 'Delhi Belly', 'Mere Brother Ki Dulhan' and 'Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu', Imran will make his first foray into a franchise product with the mammoth sequel.

According to trade sources, the film's formidable and unconventional casting has made it among the biggest and most keenly anticipated industry features.

Says director Milan Luthria, "The uniqueness of pairing Ajay Devgn and Emraan Hashmi in the original made people sit up and applaud. By casting Akshay and Imran together for the first time, we've pulled off the casting coup of the year. Both the stars are diverse in their appeal, style and presence. Just like Akshay, Imran was electrified by the script that Rajat (Aroraa) and I have worked on!"

According to producer Ekta Kapoor, "We couldn't have asked for a better actor than Imran to play Aslam. Not only does he fit the role to the tee but also enjoys an unprecedented fan following as a star. We welcome him to Balaji and look forward to working with him on the second edition of our franchise."

The high-romance action-drama goes into production in July and releases early next year.

Vidya Visits Dubai´s Lamcy Plaza, Interacts With UAE´s Abuse Victims

The star crazy crowd did their best to catch a glimpse oftheir favourite actress, who in turn showered her fans with rose petals!Vidya Balan, who recently received a national award for her performance in 'The Dirty picture', visited the Dubai Foundation For Women And Children on the eve of International Women's Day.
Instead of basking in the glory of her first national awards, the 34-year-old actress chose to shine a light on the needs of abused women with her visit her DFWAC.

Bura Na Mano Holi Hai; Eve Teasers Beware ´Rowdy Rathore´ Is Watching!

In a novel way to promote their film, the makers of Akshay Kumar-Sonakshi Sinha starrer 'Rowdy Rathore' have set up a special helpline number to tackle eve-teasers on Holi.
Producers UTV Motion Pictures and Sanjay Leela Bhansali and co-produced by designer Shabina Khan, announced the launch of its Holi Helpline service in the city that will exclusively be active for March 8 (Holi) as a drive against eve teasing and sexual harassment.

The poster of 'Rowdy Rathore' featuring Akshay reads 'Kheloge Pyaar Se Toh Bachoge Maar Se' and comes with a toll free number, which people can avail to curb this menace. "As part of our marketing initiative we will be launching the RR help line in Mumbai followed by other cities closer to release. The idea of launching it on Holi is that women should feel safe while playing Holi, and they should not stay indoors and miss out on celebrations because of unwanted incidents on that day," Shikha Kapur, Senior VP, Marketing UTV Motion Pictures said in a statement.
Directed by Prabhudeva, the action-packed movie is scheduled for a June release.

Interestingly, ‘Will You Marry Me ?’ is about a beach wedding. The film has been shot in several locations around the world including Dubai, Mumbai and Bangkok.

The film stars Shreyas Talpade, Rajeev Khandelwal and Mughda Ghodse.

Celina In Dubai, Expecting Twins In March!

Celina Jaitley, who is married to Dubai based hotelier Peter Haag, is likely to deliver sometime in March.
The actor who is right now in Dubai is expecting twins and enjoying her time off work.Sources close to the actor say that Celina is very excited about her pregnancy and just can’t wait to hold her babies.
The actor confirmed through her account on social networking site Twitter that she is expecting twins and even revealed that though she completes a full term pregnancy in April, she is due to deliver a month earlier because she is carrying twins.
"Thank you for the many wishes on our twins...Peter and I are due to become parents in April. But twins come a month in advance so March it is," Celina wrote on Twitter.

Celina married hotelier Peter Haag in 2011, and she is enjoying her journey to motherhood.
"Twin pregnancies have their risks and unique experiences which singleton birth's don't have. So it's been quite a journey," she added.
It's been a while since Celina was seen on the big screen. So when a fan asked her on Twitter - "Where are you dear? No more movies," she responded: "Maternity break...its difficult to dance n seduce the hero whilst pregnant with twins."
The actor made a conscious decision to maintain a low profile after her marriage and pregnancy, so much so that not many are even aware of the fact that she is expecting soon.
