I am yet to accept Dabangg 2 song

Actor Kareena Kapoor has been offered to do an item number is Salman Khan's Dabangg 2 but the actress says she is yet to take a decision.
The 31-year-old, whose item song Chammak Challo in RA.One was a chartbuster, said she hates the term "item song" and finds it derogatory.
"Salman has spoken to me about the song and he wants me to do the number but I haven't decided If I will do it. And I just hate the term Item song, why can't it be called a song.
"When Helen aunty used to do songs back then they were never termed as item numbers. I don't want my songs to be called by this name," said Kareena, who was in the capital to attend the India Today Conclave.
The actor will also be seen doing a mujra in her upcoming film Agent Vinod. The film will release on March.

Bipasha to whip up Chef avatar!

She is busy with back-to-back films, endorsements and fitness DVDs. But Bipasha Basu has a new plan up her sleeve — becoming a trained cook. Apparently, she is keen to join the famous culinary institute, Le Cordon Bleu (at either New York or Paris) for a professional cooking course. But
sources insist Bips is finding it tough to find the time in her packed schedule.
“It has definitely been my dream to be a very accomplished cook/chef. But of late, I haven’t been able to do any cooking due to my super busy schedule. If I really want to push it and cook more, one of the ideas is to go to a proper culinary school. But since the course will take some time — at least a couple of months — I’m not sure how I will be able to make time for it,” confirms Bipasha.
The Race (2008) actor wants “to learn healthy styles of cooking” especially desserts. Ask Bips what cuisines she wants to
master and she chuckles, “Definitely Oriental, Mediterranean and Japanese since they are healthier and greener with a lot of seafood which I simply love. I want to learn to make waffles and cupcakes. I can bake cakes but the idea is to bake crème de la crème desserts.”
Busy with Raaz 3 and Singularity right now, Bips admits that it’s tough to juggle her passion with her profession. “Career wise, it’s a very important time for me. Definitely I have plans (to learn cooking) but I must balance that with my professional life. Let’s see if I can pursue a short-term crash course till then,” she says.
‘Mommy’ Bips to master cooking!
Bipasha feels one can’t become a mother if a woman doesn’t know how to cook. “My friends, such as Deanne (Pandey), are mothers too but they can’t cook. I always tell them, ‘what kind of a mother are you?’ Some day I would like to have kids but before that, I want to polish up my cookery skills. And this doesn’t mean that I want to have a child right now,” says Bips with a laugh. She adds, “For instance, if my mother didn’t know how to cook, I would be very angry.”

Aishwarya's fake passport found!

In a raid by the special operations group (SOG) at a Vadodara residence, officials found an unexpected document amongst other fake papers.
As the officials were raiding the house of one Premchandra Khandelwal after a tip-off, they came across a forged passport in the name of
Bollywood actor Aishwarya Rai, according to media reports. The fake passport mentions Aishwarya Rai's passport number, photo, date of birth and birth place.
The photocopy also mentions that the passport was renewed on May 2, 2006. The police are now investigating the matter to find out how the accused got a copy of the actor's passport.
Four persons were arrested during the raid for allegedly using fake documents to send people abroad.

Sonam Kapoor's fairytale days!

In my really early years, when I was four or five years old, my mum would read out stories to me, and she wouldn’t finish them so that I’d want to hear the rest of the story the next time. That’s where my passion for books started — from my mum. I had an overactive imagination and she knew that well, so she figured that the best way to channel it was through reading … I could use the stories to imagine things. And it worked — every time she read out a story, I grew really curious about how the rest of it would unfold.
Back then, we were not even allowed to watch TV and whenever I did, it was just Doordarshan at my naani’s place … Chhaya Geet, remember? That’s how I know all old songs! So, since there was little else to do, by the time I was 8 or 9, I had read every Enid Blyton book, and the Nancy Drews and Hardy Boys too. I loved Malory Towers and so wanted to go there.
And, I had this amazing teacher when I was in my pre-teens ... my elocution teacher. Once every month, she’d take us to a bookstore to pick a book. I picked a Roald Dahl book, and fell in love with him. I also loved Charles Dickens and Rudyard Kipling and CS Lewis. And I can still read Gulliver’s Travels and A Little Princess and Panchatantra and Baital Pachisi.
All these books you read in your formative years, they give you a sense of empathy and a sense of right and wrong. They give you morals and ethics. When you read Black Beauty from the perspective of a horse, you realise you need to respect an animal. When you read Huckleberry Finn and Tom Sawyer, you realise there are children who are not as privileged as you. It takes you to a place you wouldn’t have ever been to … like Alice in Wonderland makes you dream … maybe there’s a magical place like that which really exists!
I always wanted to be a part of the Famous Five. I wanted to be a detective, a teacher, and when I read Great Expectations, I wanted to be a painter. Books open up this world to you… you feel you can do so much more. I don’t know why today’s kids read strange books or just don’t read!

Vidya Balan: Lavani love!

Now this one really takes the cake, or in this case, the laddoo! Vidya Balan is on a high, and everything she does is turning to gold. Case in point, the lavani number she recently shot for the much-anticipated Ferrari Ki Sawaari.
The girl was so happy with the outcome that she ordered not just a kilo or two, but a whole truckload of laddoos for the entire crew to gorge on after the shoot!
Of course she's on a strict diet and trying to lose all the weight she put on for her National Award-winning outing in The Dirty Picture, so she didn't have much, but I won't be surprised if the crew members are all bringing out their weighing scales worriedly. Hah!

Sonam Kapoor is a big foodie!

Bollywood actor Sonam Kapoor, who is known for her wonderful styling, however can't resist herself when it comes to food. She claims her life revolves around food.
"My whole life revolves around food. While having breakfast I think what I should have for lunch. while having lunch I think what I should eat for dinner," Sonam told IANS during the unveiling of Wassup! Andheri, a three-day art and entertainment festival in the Andheri suburb.
This glamorous actor, who belongs to a Punjabi family, loves feeding people. She said: "I am a Punjabi and the whole point is I love feeding people and I love getting fed."
Sonam had to lose oodles of weight before she starred in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Saawariya.
She is, however, giving a tough time to her dietitian.
"My dietitian has been working on me for quite some time and she has been unsuccessful," the 26-year-old said.

Karan, Priyanka at war?

On Tuesday morning, Twitter followers of Karan Johar were surprised to see angry tweets by the filmmaker, calling someone ‘lame and spineless’. Although Johar did not name anyone, it took little time for people to guess that in all likelihood, he was referring to actor Priyanka Chopra. Trouble began when the tabloid Mumbai Mirror carried a story on Tuesday quoting Priyanka’s unnamed ‘friends’ strongly defending her in the allegations of a rumoured affair with Shah Rukh Khan and hinting that Johar had been bitching about her.
Without naming anyone, it also targetted ‘star wives’ (in reference to SRK’s wife, Gauri) and said, “If these women are insecure about their relationships with their husbands, they should sort it out with them, at home.”
In no time, a fuming Karan Johar tweeted, “Using their hired PR machinery and hiding behind so called “friends” to get news into tabloids is nothing but spineless and lame!!” He added: “Some people need to wake up and smell the KOFFEE!!! Get a reality check before it’s too late!!! Grow up!!! and don’t mess with goodness.”
The industry is worried to see this open war being declared between the two, but hope they’ll resolve it. “Washing one’s dirty linen in public is no solution. If there is a problem between two individuals, they should sort it out between themselves rather than going public,” says ad guru Prahlad Kakkar.
“There is nothing that two people can’t sort out by sitting across the table. They are both close to me and I’m sure they’ll resolve it like mature individuals,” says critic Taran Adarsh. “Such matters are best solved in private,” says Suhel Seth. Actor Sahil Shroff speaks out in PC’s favour and says, “I’ve known her for 10 years and she is a good girl. I’m sure she’s being targeted.”
Karan Johar did not comment on the matter while Priyanka’s spokesperson strongly denied accusations of planting the said story, saying, “Priyanka never discusses personal matters in media.”

IPL will not affect films, says Salman

Actor Salman Khan says that filmmakers should not shy away from releasing their films during the Indian Premier League (IPL) cricket tournament, citing that one of his hit films was released during the Cricket World Cup.
“I don’t think there will be any difference if you release your film during IPL. My film, Biwi No 1 was released during World cup (1999),” he says. The fifth edition of IPL that kicked off on Wednesday will be on till May 27. With nine teams and 76 games, it promises to be a treat for cricket fans. So, which team he thinks will win the IPL, this year? “The best team should win. I have lots of friends who own the teams. Whoever plays the best should win,” he replies.
